Moments from the CBD, miles from anywhere.
A slice of nature featuring a wetlands reserve, walking trails, animal encounter farm, outdoor activities for the whole family and of course the farm cafe.
Stonesthrow is owned and operated by the Dornauf family. A family with a rich history in premium Tasmanian food production having farmed dairy cows in the Meander Valley for 3 generations, previous owners of Meander Valley Dairy and Tacos de Pancho food van. Now owners of the delicious Hillwood Berries and Hillwood Farmgate & Pick Your Own.
Along with being the place to eat with some of the most picturesque views in Launceston, Stonesthrow also gives visitors a taste of the country with animal encounters, beautiful natural walks around the lakes and bushland, farm fresh produce used in the cafe and house-made products to purchase such as soughdough and jams.
